Trays

The wedding tray are traditionally silver (sometimes gold) and are an essential part of the Greek Orthodox wedding ceremony. The tray is placed on a small table at the front of the church during the wedding ceremony. The wedding crowns are presented on the tray until used during the service. Jordan almonds (koufeta) are also usually added onto the tray around the stefana for decoration.
