Small, handmade Aluminum Andidoron Bowl with metal base used for Holy prosphoron Bread.
SIZE: 14.2" x 21.7" (36cm x 55cm)
The bowl is used to hold the leavened unconsecrated blessed bread. Antidoron bread comes from the remains of the prosphora bread cut during the Orthodox Divine Liturgy. Ἀντίδωρον means "instead of gifts", referring to the Eucharist gifts. The Andidoron disc is used in churches to hold the andidoron bread.
